Q: What does Paint by Numbers mean?
A: The concept of Paint by Numbers was invented by Dan Robbins in the 1940’s. Paint by Numbers are kits that include an area (ours are canvas) in which a picture is outlined on a white surface. The outline is broken into small areas with each area to be painted in a different color. The areas are each marked with a number that corresponds to a specific paint color and the paints are marked with the corresponding number. The painter uses a paintbrush to paint the outline sing the provided paints.
Q: What is included in the kit?
A: The Kits include everything you’ll need: The outlined canvas, which is gallery wrapped on wooden stretcher bars; The numbered paints; 3 different size paintbrushes for easy painting of different size areas.
Q: Who can paint Jbrush Paint by Numbers?
A: The idea Paint by Numbers is to Make Painting for Everyone so even a beginner can paint a beautiful picture without any experience or having ever taken an art class.
Our kits come in different sizes and are geared to different age groups based on the size of the small areas. In general our kits are for adults as well as children ages 12+ (we have some in the smaller size specifically made less detailed so even children under 12 can paint)
Q: How long will it take me to paint?
A: The large size (16×20) can take around 15 hours on average so If you paint for about an hour a day, it should take about 2 weeks to complete. The smaller simpler ones are made to be finished in 4-6 hours or around a week.
Q: How long will it take for my order to ship?
A: We are based in Lakewood NJ and everything is shipped from our warehouse. We generally prepare and pack your order the same day you order and ship the next business day. In Lakewood we have our own delivery service which generally delivers in 1-2 business days. In the rest of the Tristate Area we use USPS or UPS which takes 2-3 business days. The rest of the US can take up to a week depending on the distance. You will be provided with a tracking number so you can easily track your order.
